Lovely hotel,friendly staff opposite the beach

In general: Small sized hotel in quiet location opposite the beach close to Skala. Rooms are good size, kept very clean in typical Greek design, fairly basic but very functional. Good electrics and socket points. Bathrooms cleaned daily, very clean, always hot water. WI-FI in the room/hotel worked well. Location and surroundings: The hotel is approximately 1 1/2 hours from the airport. From the hotel it is a short walk to Skala. There is ample tavernas to choose to eat. The hotel has a very good restaurant with excellent food range and the quality of the food and portions are very good. The hotel is opposite a sandy and pepple beach. Lots of places to visit. There are local buses which their times were posted on the hotel bulletin board. We booked through TUI and days trips we're available. We booked car hire independently and traveled around the island. Roads were quiet however it was at the end of the season. There were local shops and two supermarkets close by. Service: Good sized rooms cleaned daily, very clean. All the hotel was kept to a high standard of cleanliness. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Always willing to help and give advice. I forgot my phone when I left the hotel and they transported it to the airport before my flight departure. There are not many hotels which will go the extra mile. So thank you so much. Dining: Breakfast good range of food available. Tables always clean, table service excellent. Bar and restaurant service punctual and very friendly. Restaurant menu lots of choices, ample portions, good plate presentation. Never had a disappointing meal during our stay and did use the restaurant a few times. The staff were friendly and so helpful. Excellent service. I can see why people return to this hotel year after year it has such a lovely atmosphere. Sports and leisure: There is a good sized pool kept very clean. Several loungers around the pool. This is a small hotel so not any activities that I was aware of although it was the end of the season. There were activities close by that were available. Room: Good sized room opposite pool facing towards the beach. Bathroom had shower, cleaned daily, very clean, always hot water. Useful tips: Relaxed, early check in and our room was ready. On check out there seemed to be no hurry. Car parking available at the front and rear.

I took a queen room with fresh towels, microwave and the most comfortable beds. The location was stunning, close to the shops and other restaurants, and the main square, stayed here during my trip.

Make sure to explore the local taverna for authentic dishes and immerse yourself in Greek culture during your stay, it adds a unique touch to your experience.

The room was comfotable but designed with limited storage, quite unacceptable. Shoudn't a hotel care about its guests? I found having to pay for sunbeds ridiculous! I nearly left a good review, but the lack of proper service disappointed me. Don't ever expect special treatment here, you're just another face in the crowd.

Good hotel with free Wi-Fi, a seasonal outdoor pool, and a great restaurant. Staff assisted me with local info on my first stay. Highly recommend it for a fantastic time. I'm definitely coming back!

The room we stayed in lacked adequate storage, frustrating. The bathroom had a disconcerting toilet flush issue that ruined my experience. The limited breakfast variety was a major letdown-having the same options every day was monotonous.

The location is a dream-close to the beach and vibrant local eateries. The pool and restaurant areas are great, and the staff is attentive. Highly recommend checking out Antisamos beach for water sports and a horseback riding trip for a fun day!

good stay but needs improvements

The buffet breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options that delighted my family. The gardens were a beautiful touch. Having both shade and sun around the pool area made it enjoyable for everyone. We also appreciated the gorgeous sea view from our room, which enhanced our stay and created a lovely atmosphere.

The room lacked proper storage space, frustrating during our three-night stay.

The room was cozy with a super comfy bed, perfect for a good night's sleep. It had nice storage for our things and a spacious bathroom with great water pressure. The balcony view of the sea was a fantastic bonus for morning coffee. Just be aware that the room felt a bit dated in some areas, which could use an upgrade.

Room designs lack privacy with some facing busy areas. The beach charges for sunbeds can catch you off guard, especially when looking to fully unwind on the sand. Some bathrooms feel dated and could definitely use an upgrade to improve the overall experience.

This hotel was just a commendable fit for a short visit in Skala (Kefalonia) with fantastic value for money. The breakfast was lovely with fine views of the sea, making mornings a pleasure. Keep in mind that the noise from nearby trucks can be quite disruptive at night.

Fine beach views and excellent food

The friendly and helpful staff left a lasting impression, our needs were promptly met. Although the breakfast options could use more variety, the overall dining experience was amazing, and we were thrilled with our spacious and comfortable room.
